Farmer Toilet Paper Roll Craft

This simple and engaging color, cut, and paste paper craft transforms an ordinary toilet paper roll into a delightful 3D farmer. Perfect for young children, this craft is both enjoyable to make and play with. Follow our easy instructions to create your own little farmer friend!

Materials:

a toilet paper roll,
printer,
glue,
scissors,
something to colour with,
a piece of paper.

Instructions:

Print out the template of choice.
Color the pieces if using the B&W version. Give the kids the chance to be creative and let them use their favorite tools -- colored pencils, crayons, markers, pastels or paints. Whatever inspires them today.
Carefully cut out the craft templates. This may require some adult assistance for some of the tougher pieces.
Glue the large rectangular piece around the toilet paper tube.
Glue on the overalls.
Glue on the arms, legs and head.
Glue the hat onto the head and the pitchfork into one of the hands.

Things I Have a Love/Hate Relationship With:

Technology: I love how it connects us and makes things easier, but why does it have to change so quickly?
Trivia Nights: I'm your go-to person for fun facts, yet somehow, I always end up in second or third place. Frustrating!
Gardening: I like to think I have a green thumb, but it has a few brown speckles. My plants and I are working on it.
Animals: I adore my pets and they bring me so much joy, but oh, the chores! Why can’t they clean up after themselves?

I earned my degree back in the early '90s, and as a lifelong learner, I continue to delve into the things I love. This includes technology (though I struggle to keep up!), art, early childhood education, history, and mythology as it relates to sociology.
