Book Title: The Wonky Donkey
Authour: Craig Smith
Illustrator: Katz Cowley
My Rating: 5/5
Would I recommend this book? Absolutely, it’s super fun and the rhymes get ridiculous!
Suggested Age of Reader: 5+, The book has lots of repetition so it can be a good book for a kid to start reading on their own.
Brief Summary (no spoilers): A bird is walking down the road and sees a wonky donkey. The farther they go the more ‘wonky’ things the bird notices!
What I liked/ didn’t like: I liked all the rhyming, and the silly names the duck came up with for the donkey. I also liked that you can go online and find the book in song form.
What the book teaches you: The book can teach young readers about repetition, rhyming, and to have fun while reading!
Additional Notes: If you liked this book, you can get the second book The Dinky Donkey
