Penny Pig Toilet Paper Roll Craft

Three Little Pigs: Penny TP Roll Craft This cute Three Little Pigs themed craft is a simple cut and paste toilet paper roll craft that children can make to add a three dimensional effect to the character of Penny Pig. Penny is the pig that built her house out of brick and ended up saving her brother and sister from the wolf.

Materials:

a toilet paper roll or cardboard tube,
printer,
glue,
scissors,
something to colour with,
a piece of paper

Instructions:

Print out the template of choice.
Color the pieces if using the B&W version. Give the kids the chance to be creative and let them use their favorite tools -- colored pencils, crayons, markers, pastels or paints. Whatever inspires them today.
Carefully cut out the craft templates. This may require some adult assistance for some of the tougher pieces.
Glue the large rectangular piece around the top of the toilet paper roll.

Glue the arms on the sides.
Glue the feet onto the bottom of the toilet paper roll, bending the tabs to make a 3D effect.
Glue the tail onto the back of the tp roll, bending the tab to make a 3D effect.
Glue the bricks into the hands.

Gardening: I like to think I have a green thumb, but it has a few brown speckles. My plants and I are working on it.
Animals: I adore my pets and they bring me so much joy, but oh, the chores! Why can’t they clean up after themselves?

I earned my degree back in the early '90s, and as a lifelong learner, I continue to delve into the things I love. This includes technology (though I struggle to keep up!), art, early childhood education, history, and mythology as it relates to sociology.
