Cover the bottom 2/3's of the bulletin board with one color (blue in our illustration) and the top 1/3 with either green or white.
Print the March title template March Lion or Lamb, Which will it be? or in B&W) Tape to a piece of red construction paper or card stock to create a border (or use another complimentary color). Tape this title to the center of the board.
Read through the In Like a Lion, Out Like a Lamb activities. Create the Lion and Lamb crafts and pin them on either side of the title page. Print the graphing project and tape it under the title. At the beginning of the month, do the In Like a Lion, Out Like a Lamb discussion activities with the children (see link above). Each day, have a student (the helping hand, birthday student, etc) mark off whether the day was a lion day or a lamb day. The Lion/Lamb activities and weather discussion should take up the first week or two of March.

Thanks to Irene from Sharon Community School for sending in this photo and idea: I am sending you a picture of my March board using your lion and lamb. Everyone just loved it. It actually made our local paper. |
As you can see, Irene did an overall collage of March, including the Lion and Lamb, Saint Patrick's Day, Spring and Easter. |
